Captain America is one of the many playable Super Heroes from Marvel Universe in Super Hero Squad Online. Like his comic book counterpart, Captain America in Super Hero Squad Online sports the same Red, White and Blue costume. Of course, he wouldn’t be Captain America without his almost indestructible shield and he carries that shield around anywhere in Super Hero Squad Online.

Captain America is also a favorite character of mine in Super Hero Squad Online. As you can see from the screenshot above, I have already MAXed-out his level and he is the only Super Hero in my Squad that is already MAXed-out. I just love how he throws his shield around like a boomerang. I don’t know the science behind (if there are any) it but it’s really cool to look at.
Captain America in Super Hero Squad Online has the following Special Attacks; Shield Slash, Stars and Stripes Forever and Surfin’ USA. This Special Attacks are only available during missions and you can only choose to use one per mission and they are triggered by the Right-Mouse Button. Special Attacks also use Stars and you get Stars by filling-up the Star Meter with normal attacks or by getting hit by the enemy or by picking up Stars dropped by defeated enemies.
- Shield Slash. This Special Attack uses one Star. In this Special Attack, Captain America attacks his enemies by throwing his shield towards them.
- Stars and Stripes Forever. This Special Attack is more like a buff. It increases the damage dealt by Captain America for a few seconds and it uses 2 stars.
- Surfin’ USA. In this Special Attack, Captain America attacks his enemies by charging towards them like he was surfing the waves with his shield as his surfboard.
My favorite Special Attack by Captain America is Shield Slash. It uses only 1 Star, deals good damage and can hit enemies from a distance.
By the way, filling-up the Star Meter will activate the Hero Up Special Attack. To trigger this Special Attack, you must click on the Hero Up button that will appear on your screen. Captain America’s Hero Up Special Attack is like Shield Slash but only greater and hits multiple enemies around him dealing good damage. It’s great when you are being mobbed by a group of enemies because you’ll hit them all with just one attack.
Unfortunately, there is no code for Captain America and, currently, he is also not available in the Store. Now, if there is no code to get Captain America and he is not available in the Store then how did I get him? Captain America was given as a gift by Super Hero Squad Online to all Close Beta Testers and, luckily, I was one of them but, don’t worry, who knows Captain America might just suddenly appear in the Store one day.
