The currency in Planet Calypso, Entropia Universe is called PED and you will need some PED if you want to fully enjoy living in Planet Calypso. Unfortunately, PED is not very easy to get. There are only two ways of getting PED in Planet Calypso, the first one is by buying PED with real money from the developers and the second one is by trading or selling items of value to other players in-game.

In Planet Calypso, new players start with almost NOTHING in their inventories except basic clothing, a vibrant sweat extractor and a few extremely limited¬†items from the tutorial. They won’t have a single PED in their name. If you are a new player but would like to get some PED without buying or depositing any money then you can choose to either collect vibrant sweat or collect fruits, stones and dungs or you can do both.

I chose to do both but not at the same time. If I get bored collecting vibrant sweat then I go and collect fruits, stones and dungs instead and vice versa. Yes, getting PED for FREE is a lot of work and it is very hard. It is so hard and boring that most new players in Entropia Universe quit because of it. I know because I almost did but then again I’m more of a casual player in all the games I play.

If you wish to get some PED by collecting and selling fruits, stones and dungs to other players then simply follow the easy steps listed below.

  1. Set your graphics mode to LOW. This will eliminate all the unnecessary things on the ground like grass and some plants that might make it hard for you to see the fruits, stones and dungs.
  2. Find a nice flat area with very few creatures to explore or search for fruits, stones and dungs. It is easier to find things in a flat area and you lessen the risk of getting killed if there are very few creatures around.
  3. Walk don’t run. Fruits, stones and dungs will not appear on your screen if you run. Just walk around and try to cover as much area as you can.
  4. Don’t rush and be patient. Fruits, stones and dungs don’t appear often and sometimes you will miss seeing some of them specially the stones because they blend with the ground very well.

When you get enough fruits, stones and dungs like maybe a couple of thousands for each, you can sell it to other players for a few PEDs. As for how much these fruits, stones and dungs sell, the best place to know is by checking The Auction terminals. You can also right click on them in your inventory to see their current Market Value. Once you know how much they are worth, you can place them in The Auction or you can directly sell them to other players.

Right now, I have a few hundred fruits, stones and dungs but I have no plans of selling them yet. I’ll wait until I get thousands of each before I start selling them. It may take a long time but that’s how it must be done. Below is a YouTube video of my character collecting fruits, stones and dungs in Planet Calypso.

I’ve also taken screenshots of some of the things my character was able to collect while walking around Planet Calypso, Entropia Universe.

I hope this little post about collecting fruits, stones and dungs helps you in your adventure in Planet Calypso, Entropia Universe. I don’t think I can add anything more to it right now but I’ll keep posting more about it as I go along.
