C9 is currently in Open Beta and I'm playing it. My character is a Fighter and his name is Kabalyero. At level 19, I've already finished all Promotions Test. I'm just waiting for my character to reach level 20 so I can change his class into a Guardian. I actually wanted a Berzerker but they removed it and I have no idea why.
C9 is Webzen’s latest fantasy themed Action-MMORPG. Open Beta was announced a couple of days ago but I was only able to download and install the game today. After downloading and installing the game, I spent a few hours playing it. My character class is a Fighter and I’m currently playing in the US Server.
C9′s character creator is very easy to use. It will let you change a lot of things about your character except maybe your character’s gender. Yes, C9′s character classes are gender locked. If you want a male character then you’ll have to choose a Fighter or a Hunter. If you want a female character then you can choose between Shaman or Witchblade.
As mentioned above, the four character classes are:
- Fighter
- Hunter
- Shaman
- Witchblade
As a Fighter, my character is equipped with a sword and a shield but that’s just how I like it. There is nothing more honorable than rushing your enemies while hacking and slashing your way to glory. For my character’s class change, I wanted to go with the Berzerker but they removed it so I’ll choose the Guardian instead.

(C9, Continent of the Ninth Seal)
My character is currently at Level 19 and, if I’m not mistaken, class change happens at Level 20. I just need one more level to change class. Fortunately, the quest associated with it is very easy.
Right now, I’m not doing anything special in-game. I’m just running around doing all the quest I can get from the NPCs.
Anyway, C9 is very easy to play. If you like action-MMORPGs like Dragon Nest, Vindictus, DC Universe Online and others then you might just like C9 as well. Just visit the official website, register a free account, download, install and play the game.
Remember, C9 is not a point-and-click MMORPG.
